Despite being just the tender age of two, Josh Turnbull turned into a star in London. Josh is the son of Chelsea’s backup goalie, Ross Turnbull, and stole the show after a match of Chelsea FC last Sunday.

It was a important day for The Blues, finishing the season in the third place and secured a spot at 2013-2014 UEFA Champions League. While the team was celebrating the win with their kids and family on the field and listening to the speech of retired defender Paulo Ferreira, the little uninhibited boy found a ball and began to kick it toward one of the goals at Stamford Bridge.

When the crowd noticed the 2-year old trying hard to play and even stumbling once, they shouted encouragement. Seconds later he scored what could be described as one of the most precious goal ever on this particular pitch.  When the ball crossed the goal line, the stadium erupted.

Little Josh raised his arms and celebrated.  The crowd was chanting, “Sign him up! Sign him up!”

Perhaps adorable goals scored by the offspring of players are a tradition with Chelsea FC.  Back in 2011, Stefan, the son of the defender Branislav Ivanovic, scored a similar goal and celebrated with his proud dad. You can watch the video below.
