Vivid Seats, just released its report for the NHL’s second round of the playoffs, and the Canadiens top the list for most expensive overall ticket. The median price for Montreal’s first two home games is US$349, followed by Chicago (US$341) and New York (US$341).
Tuesday night’s Game 3 in Montreal is the third-most expensive second round matchup overall, with a median ticket price of US$345. The most expensive matchup of the second round is Game 4 on Thursday, which has a median ticket price of $345.
NHL Playoffs 2nd Round Prices (Games 1 – 4)
- Boston Bruins at Montreal Canadiens Game 4 is the most expensive of the games that are guaranteed to be played ($350)
- Chicago Blackhawks at Minnesota Wild and Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks are tied as the cheapest of the games guaranteed to be played ($245)
- Montreal Canadiens guaranteed home games are the most expensive ($349) as they host major rival Boston Bruins in the second round.
- Wild guaranteed home games are the cheapest of all teams in the second round ($250)
