ROCKET SPORTS MEDIA – Quaker Canada is bringing home the gold after partnering with Hockey Canada to “help Canadian hockey families tackle the early morning race to the rink.” How? By delivering a quick and hearty breakfast into pantries across Canada in a new marketing campaign called #HockeyHungry.

In the fast-paced world we live in nowadays, it’s very easy to overlook one of the most important parts of our morning routine: breakfast. Research has shown starting the day with a nutritious meal helps fuel the body and mind and Quaker Canada says breakfast can be prepared in a timely fashion.

The #HockeyHungry campaign is comprised of a team of experts, including former gold medal Olympian and current Sportsnet broadcaster Cassie Campbell-Pascall. She appears in the company’s new national television campaign with her daughter, Brooke, who wakes her mom up with bowl of Quaker Oats before they hit the ice for practice.

As far as I’m concerned, Quaker hit the nail on the head with this timely campaign. Not only are they helping families choose a healthier alternative over sugary breakfast foods, but by showcasing young Brooke on the ice, they’re quietly advocating for women’s hockey for young ladies across the country to see.
