NFL’s Adrian Peterson is Unbreakable

MANKATO, Minn. — Argue among yourselves about who might be the second best running back in the NFL currently. But, make no mistake, Adrian Peterson is the best back in football. It’s that simple.
Playing for a subpar team and playing out of the media spotlight in Minnesota has meant that Peterson doesn’t always get the recognition he deserves. And the Vikings certainly haven’t always used their 29-year-old superstar in his or their best interests. That comes with being the franchise who is familiar with self-destructing more than most.
What Peterson has done since coming back from blowing up his knee, tearing both his ACL and MCL, is nothing sort of miraculous. That includes coming just eight yards shy of Eric Dickerson‘s longstanding rushing record and being named league MVP in 2012.

“He goes after a tough guy on the tough guy team and he knocks him out!”
“When Adrian Peterson starts running, you can cancel Christmas.”
