Lebron James Tackles Fan After $75K Hook Shot [VIDEO]
On Friday, the Miami Heat beat the Detroit Pistons 110-88. LeBron James finished the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, going 0-for-1 from 3-point land. But the talk of the night was about a hook shot from mid-court netted by Michael Drysch.
Drysch is 50-year-old computer technician from McHenry, Illinois. As part of a promotion by a lip balm company, Drysch “put some spin on it” and awkwardly drained a 47-foot toss for a pay check of $75,000 (well, about half of that total with the remainder going to Obama.)
“That was awesome, man I was excited for him. When he wound up like that, I was like, ‘Oh no, there’s no way.’ And then when I saw it in the air, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s got a chance.’ I was happy to be a part of that.” — Lebron James
The fans at the American Airlines arena went crazy, and so did a certain No. 6 in white who tackled Drysch in the celebration.
