Human Foosball Tournament [VIDEO]
There seems to be a resurgence in the popularity of arcade games like pinball and table top hockey as some look for an alternative to video games. But it’s one thing to play “foosball” at your local hockey pub and quite another to participate in a human-sized outdoor version.
Creative folks in Minnesota decided to construct a a giant foosball game as a fundraiser to support the local Brownton Area Resources for Kids. Brownton is a small city, home to about 750 people 60 miles west of Minneapolis. A resident, Mark Cacka, designed and built the game with help from neighbours to be ready for a tournament taking place on Saturday August 9th.
It’s part of a community fund-raising that also includes pony rides, a bean bag tourney, a vendor fair and a street dance. The foosball tournament is looking for teams of six players.
